FileForge runs every conversion in your tab. You drop a HEIC photo and a JPG comes back. You drop a PDF and you get the text. Nothing uploads. You can verify it in DevTools while it works.

That is the whole point. Other online converters describe themselves the same way (“private”, “secure”, “deleted after 24h”) but ask you to upload first. FileForge is the version where the upload step does not exist. The difference matters for medical records, unreleased product photos, legal documents, family pictures, anything you would rather not hand to a vendor whose privacy policy you never read.
