Filehinge is operated by an independent sole proprietor based in Türkiye. Reach the operator at info@filehinge.com.

Filehinge converts and edits files entirely in the user's browser. Files are not uploaded to our servers. The conversion runs locally; only static code and assets are fetched from our content delivery network.

You agree not to use Filehinge to:

• Process files you do not have the legal right to process.
• Create misleading or fraudulent documents (forged contracts, falsified invoices, altered identity documents).
• Reverse engineer the code in order to redistribute the service under another name.
• Attempt to overload or interfere with the service for other users.

The Free tier has daily and per-file size limits. The Pro tier removes those limits and unlocks batch processing, the high-accuracy OCR engine, and early access to new tools. Pro is sold on a monthly or annual subscription. Tier limits and feature mappings are listed on the pricing page.

Paddle.com Market Limited acts as the Merchant of Record for every Pro purchase. Paddle is responsible for the checkout, the receipt, the payment method, the VAT or sales-tax calculation, and the recurring renewal. The Paddle terms of service and privacy policy apply to the payment transaction in addition to these terms.

You may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase by emailing info@filehinge.com. No forms, no reason required. After 30 days refunds are case by case; cancellation stops the next renewal but the current period is not pro-rated. Full policy at /refunds.

Every receipt email from Paddle contains a Manage Subscription link. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.

A Pro license key activates Pro features in any browser where you paste it. Treat the key like a password. Sharing the key with people outside your immediate household or team is a breach of these terms and we reserve the right to revoke an abused key.

Files are not uploaded to our servers under any tier. The full privacy policy lives at /privacy.

Filehinge is provided “as is”. We do our best to deliver accurate conversions and a reliable service, but no software handles every input perfectly. Keep backups of irreplaceable files; we are not liable for data loss caused by a failed conversion or a user mistake.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Filehinge is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. For Free users that amount is zero.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new last-updated date. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by good-faith email discussion will be heard by the courts of Istanbul.
