Help

If yours is not here, email info@filehinge.com.

Why didn’t my conversion work?

A few common causes, in order of likelihood:

  • The file is not actually the format its extension claims to be.
  • The file is encrypted (password-protected PDFs, DRM-wrapped media).
  • The file is larger than the converter’s memory budget on your device.

If none of that applies, email info@filehinge.com.

Which browsers work?

Chrome 110+, Edge 110+, Firefox 115+, Safari 16.4+. Some converters need newer versions for their fast path; older browsers fall back to WASM.

How do I install Filehinge as an app?

On desktop Chrome and Edge, the address bar shows an install icon. On iOS Safari, Share → Add to Home Screen. On Android Chrome, the three-dot menu has Install app. After install, Filehinge runs in a standalone window and works offline.

Can I use this offline?

Yes. A Service Worker caches every asset on first visit. The only thing that needs the network is activating a Pro license key.

Is my data really private?

Yes. Open DevTools, click Network, convert a file, and watch. You will see the page assets and (on some converters) a WASM module. You will not see a POST of your file.

How do I upgrade to Pro?

Visit pricing, pick a plan, paste the license key into the app screen.

How do I cancel?

Every charge receipt has a Manage subscription link. Cancel there; you keep access to the end of the period.

Refunds?

Within 30 days, email info@filehinge.com. No forms.
